Aga Khan Foundation international scholarship is now open for international students to pursue their master’s degree in any highly reputable university except universities in the United Kingdom, Germany, Sweden, Austria, Denmark, The Netherlands, Italy, Norway, and Ireland.
Aga Khan Foundation provides a limited number of scholarships each year for postgraduate studies to outstanding students from selected developing countries who have no way of financing their studies. In other to develop effective scholars and leaders and also to prepare them for employment the scholarship was initiated.
Scholarships are awarded on a 50% loan basis through a competitive application process once yearly in June and July.
The foundation gives the scholarship request for master’s level courses. In other words, the scholarship is only open to master’s level studies. Thus, it is open to those who are willing to consider applying for Ph.D. programs.
It is only the case for outstanding students who are highly recommended for doctoral studies by their professors and who need a Ph.D. for the fulfillment of their career objective in academy and research orientation.
