Physicians specializing in hospice and palliative medicine, caring for seriously ill patients, are eligible.
Permanent residency in low and middle-income countries, as defined by the World Bank, is a prerequisite.
The scholarship aims to empower those who have not previously attended the Annual Assembly, are early in their careers (with 2-10 years of experience primarily in palliative care), and whose organizations are least able to afford this enriching opportunity.
Recipients must obtain a valid US visa by February 26, 2024, extending until April 2024.
