International Council of Ophthalmology (ICO) Fellowship 2024 is a fully funded scholarship for international students. it provides the recipient with up to a US$50,000 stipend and helps cover living expenses and return travel fees.
The ICO Allergan Advanced Research Fellowship is open to young ophthalmologists from all over the world to undertake basic or clinical research at a chosen university.
The aim and objective of the program are to enhance ophthalmic education to improve eye care and contribute to the conservation and restoration of vision around the globe.
Thus, in other to meet this commitment, the ICO provides instruction programs and projects to strengthen and promote ophthalmic education, mostly in developing countries.
