The Mobility grant is awarded master’s and ph.D. Student in countries outside Norway, at institutions with a Department for Nordic/Scandinavia studies, who have chosen Norwegian language or Norwegian literature as a topic for their dissertation. The grant must be used for fieldwork in Norway in connection with the dissertation.
The applications will be assessed by the Program Committee for Norwegian Studies Abroad.
The applicants will be informed about the outcome of their application.
Reporting: A report about the fieldwork must be submitted within one month after the fieldwork has ended. A report form will be available under “My Tasks” in Espresso.
Who may not apply:
- Bachelor students.
- Students who have previously grants from Diku (SIU) for the same project with the same education level.
- Students with Norwegian citizenship, studying at Master’s or Ph.D. level at an institution outside Norway.
